We Wonder Women conducted a meaningful Menstrual Hygiene Awareness program at PSG School, focusing on educating girls from 6th to 10th grade. The session aimed to break taboos surrounding menstruation and empower young girls with essential knowledge about hygiene, health, and self-care during their cycles. Through interactive discussions and practical demonstrations, the program provided accurate information to address misconceptions and promote confidence. Emphasizing the importance of open conversations, the initiative encouraged students to view menstruation as a natural and manageable aspect of life. We Wonder Women, in association with Chetna Women’s Cell of Nirmala College for Women and Aiyai, organized a terracotta jewelry-making session to empower women in Karadimadai village. Led by Ms. Vaishnnavi Gokularajan, Founder of Aiyai and a member of the Kovai Wonder Woman Trust, the session focused on teaching financial independence and fostering self-love. With her expertise, Vaishnnavi guided participants with care and encouraged them to embrace new beginnings. The initiative received positive feedback, marking another step in our mission to empower women. We are grateful to everyone who contributed and look forward to more impactful initiatives.
For most of history, anonymous was a woman. On International Women’s Day 2022, we celebrated with the divine ladies at ‘Eera Nenjam,’ a home for the elderly. Innocent smiles filled the air as we brought health, happiness, and hope to them. Ms. Rose, a member of KWW Trust, initiated this heartfelt effort, ensuring we could provide not just basic necessities but emotional support as well. With God’s grace, we were able to be there for them, reminding them, ‘We will be there for you.’ We Wonder Women thank everyone who made this meaningful day possible and filled our hearts.
